Here's to Me and Baby!

Please forgive me for the poor quality of these pictures... I obviously haven't read the manual for the camera... But hey, at least they are pictures! :)

~12wks~
Sorry about the bare belly...

And here is 13 weeks... QUITE a change in only one week!

I'm at 14 weeks now but don't have a picture... I'll try to take some when we go for the ultrasound on Monday.

Here are a few bonus pictures of our (not so tidy) kitchen so you can have some idea of where we live and move and WASH DISHES.

Now, ARE YOU HAPPY?!?!?!? :)

yes, we have met adam and michelle... they are some crazy cats! :) saw them a bit more when they first moved here... poor things live on the other side of jinja (maybe a 30 min walk?) from all of us and have no car... it's quite a trek, walking with that big of a family... maybe that's why it's been a week or two since i've seen them?

and little francis who they are adopting is one of the amani favorites who everyone loves... he has been waiting and waiting for his family to come so i know this is an answer to his little heart prayers. :)

WHO AM I??? said...

i just read about "Francis" aka Sterling in the blog mentioned above... how long is the family planning on staying in Afrika and what was their purpose in moving there? (i didn't have time to read way back into their blog)

your brother and I just came in from planning a herb garden for the back yard - he's really digging the greek oregano and can imagine he and Brian cooking some mean italian dishes together with the fresh erbs... we have parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme...dill, oregano

also, yellow and red bell peppers, sweet banana peppers, mixed peppers, cayenne peppers - as well as tiny tomatoes and medium tomatoes. add to that lavender

and then 3 rose-bushes for the back yard a red, a pink and a white... they smell so good.

oh, and a huge peach tree, and a plum tree.... hopefully they'll have fruit next year! these were all on a special at Walmart...

oh, and for you, some honeysuckle

did I tell you that your wisteria bloomed this weekend while I was out of town? it's draping itself nicely under your bedroom window.

J and I will be working on the vegetable garden and herb garden over the next week, getting it all in and settled.... we'll keep you posted.. i know you and Han wanted us to have a garden... and I need something to do that requires very little brains but a lot of outdoors and enjoying God's creation - and participating with him.... and J!

can't wait to read your next post! so glad to hear from you today.... and I won't surprise the rest with your news til YOU post it!...

suspense is now rising...
